10 days mission in Mehanna

10 days Mission in Méhanna of Dany Hellal, president of the committee of twinning of Margny-the-Compiegne. With the exit of this mission, connection with the water supply network of the dispensary became operational.

The launching of a new decentralized co-operation

Signed at the end of the year 2005, the co-operation decentralized between the Vault-of-Marsh (Loire-Atlantique) and the village of Kalfou-Dabagui (Department of TAHOUA) are concretized.

A first subsidy will make it possible the female groupings to develop the small trade and the ovine breeding by the means of micro refundable appropriations.

A group of follow-up associating the men and the women of the village is created on this occasion to ensure the follow-up of the operation.

Food crisis 2005 :

An emergency operation associating several communities

In front of the extent of the food crisis which struck Niger during years 2004-2005, Solidarité France-Niger wished to place at the disposal its capacity of intervention urgently by mobilizing the local communities within the framework of a humane operation.

Several cities answered thus our call and were mobilized during the summer 2005 at our sides : CARQUEFOU, SAINTE-MARIE-DE-RE, LA PLANCHE, LAGORD, LA JARRIE, ASSERAC and HERBIGNAC.

The objective of this operation consisted with the routing of basic foodstuffs of direction of localities particularly touched by this catastrophe.

On the whole, more than 7000 euros were granted and several tens of tons of millet thus could be conveyed and distributed in the villages of NADARA and GAO .
